Joseph Anthony "Chopper" Powers, 67, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Saturday, February 6, 2021.
Joseph was a veteran of the United States Navy. He was a wonderful and loving son, brother and friend, and would do anything to help anyone. He will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him.
He was born on June 22, 1953 in Louisville, Kentucky to Anthony and Susan Powers Scott. He is preceded in death by his parents.
Joseph is survived by his sister, Kim Scott Felix (Henry).
Visitation will be from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm on Sunday, February 21, 2021, Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (235 Juneau Dr.). A graveside service will be held at 1:30 pm, on Monday, February 22, 2021 at Lebanon National Cemetery (20 Hwy 208, Lebanon, KY 40033)
The family requests that contributions in Joseph's memory be made to Kentucky Humane Society or any animal rescue organization.
