Joseph Munday, 77, of Taylorsville, Kentucky passed away on August 2, 2016. He retired from GE and attended Southeast Christian Church.
Joseph was born on June 3, 1939 in Metcalfe County, Kentucky to the late Richard and Gussie (DeSpain) Munday. He was also preceded in death by three sisters.
Joseph is survived by his wife of 55 years, Margie Munday, sons; Timothy Munday, Chris (Krista) Munday, three granddaughters and five grandsons, two brothers and one sister.
Visitation will be from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm Friday, August 5, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home (235 Juneau Drive, Louisville 40243) and from 11:00am until the time of the funeral ceremony at 1:00pm on Saturday, August 6, 2016 at Southeast Christian Church (Blankenbaker Campus) with burial to follow at Resthaven Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to The American Cancer Society and The American Heart Association.
