Joseph Leo Henning, 69, of Valley Station, KY, passed away on January 21, 2022. He was a graduate of Valley High School and was an Army veteran. Leo enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Hubert and Mary Henning; brother, Edward Owen Henning; step-daughter, Angela "Candi" Lindsey and step-grandson, Jacob Lindsey.

Leo leaves to cherish his memories, his wife, Jennifer Henning; son, Matthew (Dora) Henning; grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Matt Henning; brother, James (Vickie) Henning; sister, Martha Henning; niece, Danielle (Aaron) Ames; nephew, JT (Loura) Henning; great-nieces and nephews, Logan Ames, Taylor Ames, Keegan Henning and Britton Henning; step-daughters, Renee Shires and Rachel Armes; step-grandchildren, Sarah Gerstorff, Jason Gerstorff, Joey Gerstorff, Taylor Pigram, Wyatt Decker and Kayla Decker and 6 step-great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Sunday, January 30, 2022, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY, from 2pm-8pm with a celebration of Leo's life beginning at 6pm.
