Joseph Allen Ewing

Joseph Allen Ewing , 88, of Louisville, passed away on Saturday, April 9, 2022. Joseph was born on April 25, 1933 in Fort Wayne, Indiana to the late Joseph F. and Fayola Ewing. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife Barbara "Evelyn", son Joseph Ewing, along with his brothers and sisters. Joseph was a Veteran of the United States Navy, Union President for American Synthetic, and a member of SOAR. He loved his time with McDonalds breakfast club and poolside with family and friends.

Joseph is survived by daughters, Toni (Robert) Wells, Beth (Mike) Simmons, Stacy (Jay) Snider and son, Danny (Jenny) Ewing. Joseph leaves behind grandchildren to cherish his memory, Brian (Danielle) Davis, Ashley (Vicki) Meyer, Jennifer Cochran, Alicia (Jeremy) Durham, Tiffany Comstock, Cindy Ewing, Alexander Ewing, Kacie Ewing, Kaitlyn Ewing, JC Snider, Katie Snider, Amanda Ewing, Chris Ewing, Emily Pogue, Brittany Pogue, and Mackenzie Ewing, along with 20 great-grandchildren, and daughter-in-law Tonya Ewing.

Visitation will be from 4-8pm on Monday, April 18, 2022 at Newcomer Funeral Home (10304 Dixie Hwy). A service honoring his life will take place at 1pm on Tuesday, April 19th at the funeral home. He will be laid to rest and receive military honors at Beth Haven Cemetery.
