Joseph Mark John Daugherty

Joseph M. "Joe" Daugherty, 55, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, September 16, 2018. Joe attended Christ's Community Church of the Nazarene, was an avid Browns fan, and loved doing photography, going to the N.A. Boys Basketball games, and especially loved being with his grandson, Jace.

He was born on October 31, 1962, in New Albany, Indiana, to Dorothy Mildred (Gehring) Daugherty and the late John Louis Daugherty.

Along with his mother, Joe is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Caroll Renne (Keehn) Daugherty; daughter, Ashley Renne (Dishmond) Fields; grandson, Jace; siblings, Susan Daugherty, Theresa (Donald) Wolfe, John (Sandra) Daugherty, and Jane (Paul) Buttrum; mother- and father-In-law, Phyllis and Bob Keehn; nephews, Adam, Alex, and Austin; and sisters-in-law, Robbie and Maria Hurst.

Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, September 21, 2018, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - New Albany, (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany, Indiana) and will continue after 8:30 a.m. before the service at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday in the chapel of the funeral home. Entombment will follow at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany.

The family requests that contributions in Joe's memory be made to the Kidney Foundation and American Cancer Association.
