Joseph Mike Crain

Joseph Mike Crain , 87, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Saturday, May 8, 2021. Joseph was a hard worker who owned his own Sod business for over fifty years. He loved to hunting, fishing, driving fast and playing the ponies. He will truly be missed by anyone and everyone that had the honor of meeting him.

He was born on August 15, 1933 in Mumfordsville, Kentucky to Rutherford and Carrie (Thorpe) Crain. He is preceded in death by his wife, Gladys Mae Crain; father, Rutherford Crain and mother, Carrie Crain.

Joseph is survived by his loving children, Kelly (Joseph) Ray, Kim (Bill) Crain, Michael Crain, and David (Robin) Crain; grandchildren, Bryon (Brandie) Fradet, Morgan (Chris) Bailey, Joseph Crain, Megan (David) Bailey, Tyler (Taylor) Bailey, Jacob Crain; 7 great grandchildren; sister, Marlene Vincent; brother, Ray (Sheila) Crain; niece, Roberta Lynn Purdue. As well as a host of family and friends to cherish his loving memory forever.

Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm on Tuesday, May 18, 2021 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). His Funeral Service will be at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel with burial to follow at Mumfordsville Cemetery.
