Cooney, Joseph A. passed away Aug. 9th.
He was retired from retail sales and owner of Express Auto Parts , presently with Home Depot, a Kentucky Colonel and a Catholic by faith.
He is survived by daughters, Leslie Stricklan (Thomas)and Carolyn McAfee (Robert); brother, John Cooney (Jane),sister, Frances McCready; grand children Matt Hardesty (Amy),Nick Hardesty, Joshua McAfee and Brooke McAfee; and great
grandchildren, Jayden Hardesty and Brooklyn Garrett.
Funeral ceremony 11 AM Friday at Newcomer Funeral Home 235 Juneau Dr with burial in Resthaven Cemetery. Visitation 1-7 PM Thursday. Expressions to Hosparus of Louisville
