Joseph "Joey" Bratcher, 67, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday, May 2, 2021. Joey was an avid UK fan, loved playing pool and watching NASCAR. He worked at P. Lorillard for 10 years and he also worked at Bunton and Churchill Downs.

He was born on March 10, 1954 in Louisville, Kentucky to Roscoe and Wilma (Carmickle) Bratcher. He is preceded in death by his father, Roscoe Clinton Bratcher, mother, Wilma Jean Bratcher and brother, Jimmy (June) Bratcher.

Joseph is survived by his loving family, brother, Everett C Bratcher, sister, Vivian Sue Bratcher, brother, Robert "Bobby" Bratcher, and Daughter, April. As well as a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends to cherish his loving memory forever.

Visitation will be from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm on Saturday, May 8, 2021 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). His Funeral Service will be at 5:00 pm on Saturday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel with cremation to follow.
