Joseph Wayne "Joe" Barnes, 42, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Wednesday, January 1, 2020. Joe loved hunting, fishing, cooking, and being a dad to his son, Dallas.

He was born on May 30, 1977 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Jack and Carolyn (Phelps) Barnes.

Along with his parents, Joe is survived by his wife, Tara Barnes; son, Joseph "Dallas" Barnes; sister, Nancy (Matthew) White; step-daughter, Aaliyah Curtsinger; father-in-law, Tom Weaver; and several extended family members and friends.

Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Wednesday, January 8, 2020 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - New Albany. His Memorial Service will be at 6:00 pm on Wednesday, at the funeral home.

The family requests that contributions in Joe's memory be made to Joseph Dallas Barnes in care of Jack and Carolyn Barnes.
