Listen to Obituary

Jordan Elijah Aycock, a warm and gentle soul, was born June 4, 1996 to Kent Aycock and Nina (Aycock) Johnson. He departed this life to be with his eternal Father on September 9, 2025 in the comfort of his home.

Jordan was educated in Jefferson County at Christian Academy of Louisville (English Station Campus). He attended there from kindergarten through his graduation in 2015. He was well known at Christian Academy for his tumbling abilities. He was often asked to perform down the halls or outside. Due to his vivacious personality, he was affectionately known by students and staff alike as "J Juicy".

Jordan was a natural athlete in every sport he played. His gravitation to tumbling and somersaults led to his participation in national power tumbling events, where he often placed first or in the top three in various categories, which garnered him a place on prestigious national power tumbling teams like AAU National, USTA AL Star and USTA Elite National Team. He was always accompanied by Coach Holly Logsdon, who motivated, encouraged him and molded his skills into the champion that he was and will always be.

He was a loyal and loved employee of All About Kids, WW Cousins, House of Boom and was most recently employed at Lowes. He enjoyed all the jobs he worked. His joyous laughter and infectious smile could light up a room. Jordan's affable personality was present no matter where he was, even during the challenges he encountered during the latter parts of his life.

Jordan was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Isaac Aycock and Willie Mae Aycock.

Jordan is survived by his paternal grandmother, Virginia Aycock (Isaac); his father, Kent Aycock (Christine); mother, Nina L. Johnson (Irvin); siblings, Ayron Aycock, Bayli Aycock, Ella Shauntee and Jonathan Aycock; maternal grandparents, Rev. Bobby L. and Carolyn Smith; niece, Sadie Rose Aycock; nephew, Adin Aycock; along with a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who will miss him greatly.
