Jon David Stroud, 75, of Laconia, Indiana, passed away on Monday, December 6, 2021. He was born on May 19, 1946, in New Albany, Indiana, to the late David William and Mary Marguarite (Stiff) Stroud.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Steven Stroud.
Jon is survived by his loving wife, Mary Antoine (Lasley) Stroud; stepchildren, Anthony Mattingly, Catherine Mattingly, and Rebecca Wilson (Michael); grandchildren, Michael Mattingly, Sean McDaniel, and Alex Wilson; and siblings, Mark Stroud, Brian Stroud, Susan Beard, and Shirley Horner.
A graveside service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, December 30, 2021, at New Albany National Cemetery (1943 Ekin Avenue, New Albany).
