Johnny Len Wathen, Jr.

Johnny Len Wathen Jr, 54, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on August 5, 2025. 

He was preceded in death by his son, Johnny Len Wathen, III. He is survived by his parents, Johnny, Sr. and Mary Wathen; son, Danny (Taylor) Wathen; sister, Jeanne (Scott) McCarthy; brother, Eric (Nena) Hunter; grandchildren, Cheyenne, Jack, Luke, and Nora; and nieces, Caitlyn, Madilyn, and Jayde. 

A devoted Minnesota Vikings fan, Johnny's passion for football was rivaled only by his love for his family and friends. He enjoyed working on cars, listening to music, and spending time with those he loved most. His easygoing nature, quick smile, and generous heart will be deeply missed. 

 A mass of Christian Burial will be held at a later date. He will be laid to rest in New Concord, Kentucky.
