Johnnie Holt, 60, of Hodgenville, Kentucky, passed away on Saturday, June 22, 2019. Johnnie was a FedEX Driver. He was one of Jehovah Witness for over 40 years and attended Elizabethtown Congregation of Jehovah Witnesses. Johnnie was a loving and supporting husband who served as an Elder and Regular Pioneer with the Elizabethtown Congregation. He loved his God Jehovah. Johnnie always encouraged others by always saying, "Keep Enduring, and Never Give Up". One of Johnnie's favorite scripture was 2nd Corinthans 4:16, "Therefore, We do not Give up, but even if the man we are outside is wasting away, certainly the man we are inside is being renewed from day to day." Johnnie always had a smile of encouragement for everyone, all young and old knew him as Uncle Johnnie. He considered them all as his spiritual family.
He was born on May 4, 1959 in Louisville, Kentucky to John and Myrtle (Miller) Holt. He is preceded in death by his parents.
Johnnie is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Andrea Holt, son, Dominique Holt, sisters, Sandra Ray, and Sheena Hunt, brother, Keith Gough, and aunt, Frances Miller. He also leaves behind to cherish his memory 2 grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and extended family. He considered all of his Spritual Brothers as his Christian Family.
Johnnie Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, June 29, 2019 at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness (Shivley Congragation), 3500 Peleske Drive, Louisville, Kentucky.
