Johnathon Patrick Subleski

Johnathon Patrick Subleski, 37, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, June 21, 2026. Some would say that he was a technical wizard, also capable of creating things with his hands. John was known for being passionate about what he believed in, complimenting his big heart, kind nature and good sense of humor that occasionally was on the twisted side. 

John had many other interests that included flying drones, music, writing, 3-D printing, and being an avid animal lover, especially fond of his dogs Tucker and Touca.

He was born on July 11, 1988 in Toledo, Ohio. John is survived by his parents, Matthew Subleski and his wife, Pat, Patricia Harvey; girlfriend, Eryn Murphy; sisters, Jessica Keeler (Raymond), Emily Yarbrough (Sidney); grandmother, Norma Harvey; nieces and nephews, Tristan, Trinity, Ana, Logan, Remi and Tegan; close family friend, Lisa Phillips-Brooks; along with many extended family members and good friends.

John was preceded in death by his grandparents, Theodore Harvey, Michael and Mary Margaret Subleski.

Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, June 26, 2026 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). His funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 27, 2026 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church (1752 Scheller Lane, New Albany) with cremation to follow according to John's wishes.
