John Louis Woosley

John Louis "Louie" Woosley, 47, of Louisville, KY, passed away on September 19, 2021. He was a Christian man of strong faith and ministered through his music at many churches. John was a musician, singer and songwriter, with several albums to his credit. He enjoyed traveling with his father, spending time with friends and gourmet cuisine. John was generous in spirit and reached out to those in need.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Rebecca Woosley; grandparents, John and Margery Woosley and Ed and Wanda Horn and uncles, Mike Horn, Jack Woosley and Roger Woosley.

John leaves to cherish his memories, his father, John Woosley; aunts, Janice (Danny) Lesch, Marilyn (Bobby) Faulkenberg, Marlene Smith and Pat Zimmerman; uncles, Kenny Horn, Jim Horn and Mack Horn; cousin and life-long friend, Stacy (Eric) Crecelius; special cousins, Christie Lesch, Tommy Woosley, Jack Woosley Jennifer Faulkenberg and Kelli Faulkenberg; extended family and many friends.

Visitation will be Monday, September 27, 2021, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY, from 10am-1pm with a celebration of John's life beginning at 1pm.

John will be laid to rest at Bethany Memorial Cemetery, 10917 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY.
