John T. Woods Jr.

John T. Woods Jr., 76, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday, October 18, 2020. John enjoyed spending time with his children, grandchildren, great grandson, and his two best friends his dogs, Bear & Honey. John worked and was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. He served proudly in the United States Army.

He was born on November 16, 1943 in Louisville, Kentucky to John and Francis (Staten) Woods. He is preceded in death by his Parents, Wife of over 50 years, Judith Lynn Woods, Brother, Joseph Woods, and Grandchild, Mary Catherine Woods.

John is survived by his, Son, Joe (Laura) Woods, Daughters, Jinnie (Jay) Woods, and Jacqulyn Woods, Grandchildren, Miranda, Bradley, Bri (Lamont), Will (Jenna), Jacob, and Johnelle, Great-Grandson, AJ, Brother, Jay Woods, Sister, Anne Woods. John also leaves behind to cherish his memory a host of Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, Friends, and Extended Family.

Visitation will be from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Sunday, October 25, 2020 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). His Funeral Service will be at 5:00 pm on Sunday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel.
