John Joseph Wolf, passed away peacefully on March 27, 2026. Born on November 18, 1966, in Louisville, John’s life was marked by resilience, compassion, and a profound connection to his family and community.
John’s early years were nurtured at the Kentuckiana Children's Center, where he received compassionate care under the guidance of Dr. Lorraine Golden and her dedicated team. John's commitment to personal growth continued as he attended Blessed Assurance Adult Training, benefiting greatly from the unwavering support of Rick and Rhonda Farmer. These formative experiences played a significant role in shaping John's character and the inclusive spirit he shared with those around him.
Family was at the heart of John’s life. He was the cherished son of the late Robert Lee Wolf, Sr. and Eleanor Marie (Feller) Wolf, whose memories he carried with him always. John is survived by his loving siblings: Linda Ann Hill (Tom), Robert Lee Wolf, Jr. (Sherry), Jeanie Marie Mincey (Troy), and James Daniel Wolf. His life was further enriched by numerous nieces and nephews who fondly remember the joy and kindness he brought into their lives.
John’s passing has left a profound void in the hearts of those who knew him, yet his legacy of love, determination, and kindness endures.
Family, friends, and community members are invited to honor John Joseph Wolf’s memory at a visitation held on April 6, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, East Louisville, located at 235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, KY 40243. The following day, a Mass celebrating John’s life will be conducted on April 7, 2026, beginning at 10:00 AM at Saint Stephen Martyr Catholic Church, 2931 Pindell Avenue, Louisville, KY 40217.
