John Albert Weyler, 81, of Elizabeth, Indiana, passed away on Friday, March 12, 2021. He retired as a machinist from Philip Morris after 34 years of service. John enjoyed going to yard sales and was an avid collector of clocks.
He was born on July 16, 1939 in Louisville, Kentucky to George and Nina (Claycomb) Weyler. In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his siblings, Mike Weyler and Doris Wilson.
He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Mary Lou (Thomas) Weyler; children, Donna Weyler, Susanne Sanders (Wade Melton), Mark Weyler (Beth); brother, Ron Weyler (Shirley); grandchildren, Jeslyn, Ashley, Derrick, Andrew; and great-grandchildren, Clayton and Layne.
John's wishes were to be cremated and have no services held. Contributions in his memory may be made to Hosparus of Louisville (3532 Ephraim McDowell Drive, Louisville, KY 40205).
