John Stechauner, 74, of Jeffersonville, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, April 3, 2018. John was a simple man who loved fishing and being outdoors.
He was born on January 31, 1944, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to the late John and Ella Ida (Lorenz) Stechauner.
John is survived by his wife of 32 years, Teri-Sue (Leonard) Stechauner; children, John H. Stechauner (Lisa), Mark Staley (Cheryl), Chad Stechauner (Beth), Becky Trapp (Don), and Daniel Staley (Tammy); 11 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 Noon on Saturday, April 7, 2018, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). His Committal Service and Burial will follow at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany.
