John Smith

John "Jack Smith, 65, passed away on September 27, 2015. He retired from Reynolds/Alcoa after 32 years of service. He enjoyed going to flea markets, fishing, hunting and taking rides with Joyce in his truck. He was a proud father to Joe and a proud granddad to his grand-daughter and great-grandson.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Lillian.

He is survived by his wife, Joyce Pack-Smith; son, Joseph Smith; grand-daughter, Amanda; great-grandson, Ethan; sister, Kathie (Tom) Gannon and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Thursday, October 1, 2015, at Newcomer Funeral Home SW Chapel (10304 Dixie Highway) from 10am-1pm with a celebration of Jack's life beginning at 1pm with burial to follow at Bethany Cemetery.
