John Samuel Bunch Jr.

John Samuel Bunch Jr., 76, was born February 26, 1940 to the late John S. Bunch Sr. and Ester Frances Clark Bunch in Fredrickstown, Kentucky. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by four sisters and two brothers. He was a mason at Jeffersontown Lodge #774, a USAF Veteran, American Legion G.I. Joe Post #244, a Kentucky Colonel and retiree of General Electric with over 30 years of service.

Sam is survived by his daughters, Susan Lee Browning, Ann Renee Harrison, John Samuel Bunch III and Jason Wayne Bunch (Lindsay); seven grandchildren, Ashley Adams, Donald Knieriem III, Lee Ann Harrison, Samantha Dickerson, Dakota Bunch, Justin W. Bunch and Taya Nicole Bunch; five great-grandchildren, Kira Lee Schmidt, Levi Adams, Samuel Alyen Harrison, Briley Rose Adams and Leon Dickerson Jr.

A service to celebrate his life will be conducted Thursday, October 13, 2016 at 12:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway with burial to follow in Bethany Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12-8 on Wednesday at the funeral home.
