John Robert "Bob" Kyser, age 70 of Pewee Valley, passed away Wednesday, March 18, 2015. He was a retired police sergeant for Prospect, KY., and was formerly employed with the Jefferson County Sheriff's Department. He loved bowling and karaoke. He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Helen McBride Kyser; brother, Dickie Kyser; sister-in-law, Barbara Kyser.
Bob is survived by his loving wife of almost 6 years, Sara; children, Sean Kyser (Staci), Courtney Pate (Chris), Chris Mullins and Chelsea Stephens; 11 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild; brothers, Roy Kyser and Bill Kyser (Kathy); and a host of relatives and friends.
Funeral ceremony will be 7pm Friday, March 20, 2015 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 235 Juneau Drive with visitation there from 3pm-7pm.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital (www.Stjude.org.)
