John Ray Peck, Sr.

John R. "Johnny" Peck, Sr. 66, went to join his Savior and his wife, Barbara on April 10, 2018. John was an excellent husband, father and Pawpa and his family meant the world to him. He was an Army Veteran and enjoyed watching movies. He retired from DuPont and was a faithful volunteer.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Peck and his parents, Paul E. & Marie Peck, Sr.

John is survived by his children, John (Tracy) Peck, Jr. and Chris (Terri) Peck; grandchildren, Baylee Peck, John Peck, III, Brady Peck and Ethan Peck; siblings, JoAnn Dodd, Maudie (Frank) Lay, Paul (Sharon) Peck, Jr., Bill (Marie) Peck and Thurman (Debbie) Peck; In-laws, Andrew & Helen Gies; Andrew (Lynn) Gies, Carolyn (Luke) Donato, Tom (Becky) Gies, Carl (Kendra) Gies, Suellen Warner and Jayne (Jim) Woodring; faithful companion, Bella and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Saturday, April 14, 2018, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY from 1pm-8pm. A celebration of John's life will be Sunday, April 15, 2018, beginning at 2pm.

A graveside service will be Tuesday, April 17, 2018, beginning at 12:30pm at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery, 2501 N. Dixie Blvd., Radcliff, KY.
