John Roger Neal, Jr.

John Roger Neal, Jr., 56, of Louisville, passed away on February 28, 2017. John was born in Anchorage, Alaska on October 11, 1960 to the late John and Hester Neal. He was a proud veteran of the US Navy. After leaving the service, he worked for the VA Hospital. He also worked as a truck driver for many years.
John is survived by his wife of 15 years, Terry Wood Neal; children, Josh Neal (April), Melissa Greer (Keith), Aaron Sauer (Jayna), Ted Sauer (Cynthia); two sisters, Martha Neal Jones and Annie Birch Holland; eight grandchildren, Kelsey, Makayla, Alexis, Leslie, Easton, Trevor, Phoebe, and Kadence; and close family friend, Danelle Barbour.
Visitation will be from 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm Sunday, March 5, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home, Southwest Louisville Chapel (10304 Dixie Hwy, Louisville, KY 40272). Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Monday at the funeral home with burial and military honors following at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central in Radcliff, KY.
