John Truman Mouser, 72, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Friday, May 1, 2020. He possessed a great work ethic and had recently retired from Restonic Mattresses in New Albany. John was also a huge fan of old western movies.
He was born on April 10, 1948, in Green County, Kentucky, to the late Chesley and Emaline (Blaydes) Mouser. John was also preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Mouser.
John is survived by his daughter, Angela Malone (Donald); sons, Troy, John, and Scott Mouser (Tricia); stepchildren, Doug Stafford (Chrissa), Jay Looney, and Margaret Darlene Smith (Paul); brothers, Jimmy, Tommy (Sue), Roger (Jackie), and Roy Mouser; companion, Kay Mason; and nine grandchildren; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Services will be held privately at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany), and John will be laid to rest at Fairview Cemetery in New Albany. The family encourages everyone to plant a tree in his memory.
