John Henry Mitchell

John Henry Mitchell, 71, of Jeffersonville, Indiana, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 17, 2018. John was a long-time member of Brighter Day Anderson Temple C.O.G.I.C. and was always willing to lend a helping hand to others.

He was born on December 16, 1946, in Pulaski, Tennessee. John is preceded in death by his daughter, Angela Terry; father, Samuel Mitchell; and brother, Paul Mitchell.

John is survived by his loving wife, Patricia (Duncan) Mitchell; mother, Sadie Mitchell; brothers, Samuel Mitchell (Delores), Larry Mitchell, and Terry Mitchell (Adrienne); sister, Gwendolyn Mitchell; grandchildren, Sequita, Tiffany, Cortez, Antwan, Antonio, and Crystal Terry; and a host of great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 28, 2018, at Brighter Day Anderson Temple C.O.G.I.C. (1755 East 8th Street, Jeffersonville, Indiana 47130). His Funeral Service will follow at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday at the church.
