John Franklin McNutt, 71, passed away on August 9, 2021. One of his greatest joys was showing competition horses with his son, Michael and one of his proudest moments was winning two state championships. John retired from Phillip Morris as a mechanic.
He was preceded in death in death by his parents, Johnny and Lilly McNutt; sisters, Jane Faith and Brenda Carter and brother, James McNutt.
John is survived by his wife, Donna McNutt; children, Michael (Courtney) McNutt, Amanda (Cruz) Hernandez, Kim Brunner, Brandy (Bobby) Carter and Corey Crase; grandchildren, Taylor, Jordan, Justin, Dakota, Clayton, Ashley, Eddie, Jeremy, Miguel and Arycela; great-grandchildren, Kirkland, Brayden, Harper and one on the way; sister, Jo Ann Carter and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Tuesday, August, 17, 2021, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY from 2pm-6pm with a celebration of John's life beginning at 6pm.
