John David McCulloch, 77, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, February 17, 2022. John was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. John loved the Lord most of all, loved his teachings, and loved to go to Israel. He was proud to be a boiler maker for over 50 years. He loved his family and spending time with them meant everything to him. He loved yard sales, Sam's club, Costcos, and Cracker Barrel. John will truly be missed by anyone and everyone who had the honor of knowing his kind and loving heart.
He was born on April 8, 1944 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Gilbert and Margaret (Hollis) McCulloch. He is preceded in death by his Father, Gilbert McCulloch, Mother, Margaret McCulloch, and Brother, Dickey McCulloch.
John is survived by his loving Wife of 18 years, Donna Ruth McCulloch; Children, Stephanie (Patrick) Materna, Steven (Tabitha) McCulloch, Michelle (John) McAlister, Shannon (Theresa) Simpson, and Michael (Kim) Simpson; Grandchildren, Josh (Cassie) Willis, Tyler (Kyle) Welshan, Wade McCulloch, Isaiah McAlister, Elise McAlister, Shantel Simpson, and Evan Simpson; Great-Grandchildren, Avery Willis and Brooklyn Willis; Sisters, Peggy Joyce (John) Orofino and Shirley Walton as well as a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends to cherish his loving memory forever.
Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 12:30 pm on Monday, February 21, 2022 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). His Funeral Service will be at 12:30 pm on Monday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel with burial to follow at Bethany Memorial Cemetery.
