John Arthur Hamilton
December 4, 1929 — July 30, 2017
John Arthur Hamilton, age 87, passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, July 30, 2017. John was a member of St. Bernard Catholic Church, a Docent for the Louisville Zoo and a former electronics technician. Preceding him in death are his wife, Margaret Gammon Hamilton; and a son, John Michael Hamilton.
John is survived by his daughters, Sandy Spalding (John) and Kim Gallagher (Todd); five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.
Visitation will be 1-8pm on Wednesday, August 2, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 235 Juneau Drive in Middletown. Mass of Celebration will be 10am Thursday, August 3rd at St. Bernard Catholic Church, 7500 Tangelo Drive, Louisville, KY. 40228. Entombment will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
Memorial gifts may be made to the Kentucky Humane Society, Hosparus or the charity of the donor's choice.
