John E. Gripp Sr., 66, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Monday, August 26, 2019.

He was born on February 20, 1953 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Joseph and Ruth (Bean ) Gripp .

John is survived by his, sons, John Gripp, Jr., and David M. Gripp, granddaughter Elizabeth Gripp, siblings; Patricia Klein, Joseph P. Gripp, Linda L Perkins, Michael Gripp, Brother, Robert Gripp, and Thomas Gripp, and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Thursday, August 29, 2019 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). His Memorial Service will be at 6:00 pm on Thursday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel.
