John Bruce Froning

John "Jack" Bruce Froning , 85, of New Salisbury, Indiana, passed away on Monday, January 10, 2022. Jack was a long-time member of Pfrimmer's Chapel United Methodist Church and the Lions Club in New Salisbury. He was a proud veteran of the United States Marines.

He was born on August 13, 1936 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Arthur Froning and Juanita Slorp Froning. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Betty Froning; daughter, Pamela Froning Miskimen; and great-grandson, Michael.

Jack is survived by his children, Kelly (Raff) Viton, Jenny McConnaughay, Maribeth (Brad) Richardson, Bryn (Wade) Hedrick, Bethany (David) Burnette and Adam (Kim) Bacon; brother, David Edward Froning; grandchildren, Jacob Hedrick, Kayla Hedrick, Zachary Bacon, Ashley Bacon, Jonathan Bacon, Michael Burnette, Alyson (Chas) Granillo, Paige Burnette, Tiffany (Brandon) Greer, William (Andrea) Miskimen, Danielle Miskimen, Sofia Swanson, Dylan Swanson, Caily Richarsdson, Hayden Richardson, Rosie Viton and Raff Viton; and great-grandchildren, Gideon, Ophelia, Lucy and Aria.

Visitation will be from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm on Sunday, January 16, 2022 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). His Funeral Service will be at 3:00 pm on Sunday, at the funeral home and cremation will follow according to his wishes.
