John Carroll Frame, Jr., age 98, passed away on Saturday, December 26, 2020 at Eastern Star Retirement Home in Louisville, Kentucky. John was born to the late John Carroll and Sarah Oliver Frame on January 11, 1922. He married the love of his life, Jewell Patterson on July 26, 1942. John was a member of North Hardin Christian Church where he and his wife Judy served in many ways, such as staining the woodwork including the cross still standing there today. He was a loving Christian man of high integrity who served his country for over two decades, only retiring from the U.S. Army to spend time with his family. John's clever ingenuity was evident as he was successful at a wide range of jobs including several managerial roles and he excelled at multiple hobbies, such as gardening, woodworking and Pinochle. He is preceded in death by his wife, Judy Patterson Frame; four brothers, seven sisters; his granddaughter, Renae Frame Hudson; and his daughter-in-law, Rosalie "Duck" Frame.
John is survived by his two loving sons, Cary Frame (Margaret) and Jim Frame; as well as five grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren; brother, Joe Frame; sisters, Florence Shatz, Ruth Nations and Betty Townley; and a host of relatives and friends.
