John E. Meurer, age 70 of Westport, passed away Wednesday, October 31, 2012. John was born on September 11, 1942 in Amboy, MN to the late Lawrence and Hazel Meurer.
In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Lou, and son, Ronald Meurer.
John is survived by his children, Mike Meurer, Jay Meurer Sr., Robin Lynch, and Tommy Meurer; six grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; sisters, Sue Koehler and Bev Kammerlander; brother, Donnie Meurer; and a host of extended family and friends.
Visitation will be from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Sunday, November 4, 2012 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, KY. Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM on Monday, November 5, 2012 at the funeral home.
