John Duke , 65, of Campbellsburg, Kentucky passed away on April 12, 2018. He retired from GE and was a member of LaGrange Baptist Church.
John was born on April 23, 1952, in Louisville, Kentucky to the late James Duke and Lillie (Heltsley) Duke. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Gordon Duke.
John is survived by his wife of 44 years, Henrietta (Gadd) Duke; his mother, Lillie Duke; his children, Martha (Jorge) Campos, Miranda (Brian)Nethery and John (Vanessa)Duke, Jr., brothers, James D. Duke and Louis Duke; eleven grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren along with many family and friends to mourn his passing.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, April 17, 2018 from 4pm to 8pm , at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions 235 Juneau Drive, Louisville. His Funeral Ceremony will be held Wednesday, April 18, 2018 at 11:00am at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - East Louisville with burial to follow at Highland Memory Gardens in Mount Washington, Kentucky .
