John M. Devere

John DeVere, 76, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday, January 31, 2021. John was born in Louisville on October 27, 1944 to the late James and Lorene DeVere. He was avid Chicago Cubs and U of K fan. He enjoyed fishing and bowling. He was a devoted husband and a loving Daddy and Papaw.

In addition to his parents, John is preceded in death by a brother, James DeVere, Jr.

Left to cherish his memory is his beloved wife of 53 years, Donna DeVere; a daughter, Kimberly (Dale) Wilson; a granddaughter, Makenzie (Jacob) Smith and his dogs, Cuddles and Camo.

Visitation will be from 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Sunday, February 7, 2021 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). His Funeral Service will be at 11:30 am on Monday, at the funeral home with burial to follow in Louisville Memorial Gardens West.
