Joe E. Williams, 79, passed away on Sunday, March 8, 2015. He is survived by his extended family, Terry Price, Sarah Lomax (Jeremy) and their daughter, Ashlyn, and Ryan Price (Traci) of Clarksville, Indiana; his brother, Jess and wife, Bev Williams of Terre Haute, Indiana; & two nieces and two nephews. He served as Director of Music for several churches in Indiana and Kentucky. Joe served in the U.S. Army as director of a drum and bugle corp. He was retired from Metro Parks of Louisville, Kentucky. Joe was an active member of the Cathedral of the Assumption.
His Funeral Mass will be held at 2 PM on Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at the Cathedral of the Assumption (433 South Fifth Street, Louisville, KY 40202) with burial to follow at Red Hill Cemetery in Hodgenville, KY.
Contributions in Joe's memory may be made to the House of Ruth (607 East St. Catherine Street, Louisville, KY 40203).
