JoAnn Louise (Templeton) Leuthart, 72, of Jeffersonville, Indiana, passed away on Monday, April 8, 2019. JoAnn retired from Churchill Downs and was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in New Albany.

She was born on November 11, 1946, in Artesia, California, to the late Dick and Betty (Nash) Templeton.

JoAnn is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Dennis Leuthart; sons, Charlie Leuthart and Eric Leuthart; sister, Diane Amy (Kenny); and grandchildren, Matthew and Radley Leuthart.

Cremation was chosen following JoAnn's wishes. A reception of family and friends will be from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Monday, April 15, 2019, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) with her memorial service taking place at 6:00 p.m.

Contributions in JoAnn's memory be made to Backside Learning Center (704 Central Avenue, Louisville, KY 40208).
