Joann Hoskins, 64, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Monday, November 12, 2018.
She was born on March 19, 1954 in Lee County , Kentucky to James and Jo (Mayse) Dunaway. She is preceded in death by her father, James Blane Dunaway, Sr., husband Charles Hoskins and brother Rex Dunaway.
Joann was simple, funny, cantankerous, and a very loving mom, daughter, sister, aunt, coworker and friend. She was a loyal and faithful employee of Friendship Health and Rehab, formerly known as Friendship Manor in Pewee Valley.
She is survived by her son, Will Hoskins, sisters, Robin Ratliff (Tommie), Wilma Case (Christopher), brother, Jimmy Dunaway (Becky), mother, Jo Huff and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, November 15, 2018 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, (235 Juneau Drive Louisville, KY 40243).
Her funeral service will be at 11:00 am on Friday, November 16, 2018 at the funeral home with burial to follow at Floydsburg Cemetery in Crestwood, KY.
