Joann Crowe

JoAnn Crowe, 89, of Jeffersonville, Indiana, formerly of Salem and Little York, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, October 27, 2019. JoAnn was a faithful member of Walnut Ridge Baptist Church for over 20 years. She was known for being a loving neighbor and friend and will be missed for her wonderful cooking, especially her German Chocolate Cake.

She was born on April 4, 1930 in Jackson County, Indiana to the late Eugene and Minnie Bell Mullins. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Dale Crowe; son in-law, Paul Morgan; and 9 siblings.

JoAnn is survived by her loving daughters, Gladys Morgan, Connie (Mike) Gewirtz and Dalene (Kent) Lanum; grandchildren, Lisa (Karl) Murzynski, Kim (Steve) Reynolds, Kris (Brad) Schnitker, Rachel (Josh) Green, Emily (Braden Martin) Gewirtz and Reagan Lanum; and 8 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, October 31, 2019 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) and from 9:00 am to 11:00 am on Friday at the funeral home. Her Funeral Service will be at 11:00 am on Friday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions with burial to follow at Sellersburg Cemetery.
