Joan Murphy Slusher, age 74 of Shepherdsville, KY. passed away on Tuesday, July 8, 2014. She was formerly employed at Walmart. She was preceded in death by her parents, Everett Leon and Ruby Schooler Murphy.
Joan is survived by her son, Timothy L. Slusher (Chrisy); brother and sister-in-law, Donald and Ann Murphy; sister-in-law, Mary Helen Murphy; and a host of relatives and friends.
Funeral ceremony will be 11am Monday, July 14, 2014 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 235 Juneau Drive with burial in Crosswater Gardens Cemetery on Billtown Road. Visitation will be Sunday from 4-7pm and after 9:30 am Monday until time of service.
