Joan LaDuke, 85, of Louisville, joined the angels in Heaven on Wednesday, April 8, 2015.
Joan was born in Louisville on December 3, 1929 to the late Frank and Anna (Tierney) Vetter. She graduated from Presentation Academy and was a devout Catholic.
In addition to her parents, Joan was preceded in death by her eight older siblings and one grandson, Dylan.
Survivors include her children, Cyndie LaDuke Buckingham (Scott), Craig LaDuke (Kitty), and Nancy LaDuke Schneider (Rick); seven grandchildren, Matt, Jason, Drew, Ashley, Alex, Natalie, and Dominic; and one great-grandson, Ben.
The family wishes to extend their gratitude for the care provided by Parkway Medical Center's loving staff.
Memorial Mass will be held at 10:00am Saturday April 18th at St. Thomas More (6105 S. 3rd Street). Newcomer Funeral Home – Southwest Chapel is assisting with arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or Mass of the Air.
