Joan (Conatser) Dorton, 73, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on March 6, 2016. She was born on July 23, 1942, in McMinnville, Tennessee. Joan cartered for many years with Service America Company. She was a great caregiver, and enjoyed spending time with her loving family.
Along with her parents, Joan was preceded in death by her daughters; Elizabeth, and Jackie. She is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, Robert Dorton, children; Pamela, Janet (James), Douglas (Debbie), Allen (Susan), 11 grandchildren; Ricky, Robbie, Jessica, Joanna, Tabby, Bruce, Stephanie, Pam, Brittany, Josh, Corey, and 18 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 10, 2016, from 1 to 7 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany, Indiana 47150) with service to follow at 7PM.
