Joan Branham Frazure

Joan Branham Frazure, 52, passed away on February 29, 2016. She was a retired librarian from McFerran Preparatory Academy who enjoyed reading and teaching the joy of literature to others. She had a great love for nature and enjoyed gardening and traveling. She was an amazing mother, daughter, sister and aunt to her family, who meant the world to her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Sarah Branham.

Joan is survived by her children, Michael Lee Frazure, Allison Branham Frazure and Jason Albert Frazure; sister, Shannon (Earl) Scott; niece, Lindsay Scott; and nephews, Wally (Crystal) and Logan Scott.

Visitation will be Wednesday, March 2, 2016, from 4pm-8pm at Newcomer Funeral Home SW (10304 Dixie Highway) and Thursday, March 3, 2016, from 1pm-2:30pm. A graveside service for Joan will be Thursday, March 3, 2016, at 3pm at Louisville Memorial Gardens.
