Jo Ann Maupin

Jo Ann, 58, of Louisville, KY, passed away on March 30, 2017. She enjoyed spending time at the lake, going camping, fishing and gardening. Jo Ann's favorite time of the year was getting together with her family and friends for the Kentucky Derby festivities. Spending time with her grandson, Caimen, was always special to her.

She was preceded in death by the father of her children, Frederick Maupin.

Jo Ann is survived by her sons, Jacob Maupin and Nicholas (Amber) Maupin; grandson, Caimen Maupin; partner, Kevin Bohannon; mother, Violetta Wittenauer; sister, Rosie Phillips; brothers, Claudio Wittenauer and Robert Wittenauer.

Visitation will be Monday, April 3, 2017, at Newcomer Funeral Home, Southwest Louisville Chapel (10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY) from 1pm-8pm. A celebration of Jo Ann's life will be Tuesday, April, 4, 2017 beginning at 11am at the chapel of Newcomer Funeral Home.
