Jo Earlean Davis, 23, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, March 13, 2022. She was born on December 30, 1998, in Louisville, Kentucky. Earlean was very artistic. She loved crafts and was a gifted writer. She was a talented basketball player, who played in high school and college. Earlean had a heart for people struggling with mental illness and was an advocate for suicide prevention. She deeply loved her family and friends.

Earlean is survived by her loving mother, Angel Briles and her partner, Horace Jones; daughter, Kameila Mason; siblings, Mariah Briles and her partner, Tevin Steele, Michael Davis, Kymorra Jones, and Arianna Davis; her boyfriend and life partner, Kimani Mason; and nephew, Damion Steele.

Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, March 21, 2022, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane) and will continue on Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Her Funeral Service will follow at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home with burial at Walnut Ridge Cemetery.
