Jo Ann DeMarsh, 82, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday, July 14, 2019.
She was born on September 6, 1936 in Meade County, Kentucky to Charles and Rose Faith. She is preceded in death by her Husband, John C. DeMarsh, her Parents, Brothers: Charles W. Faith, Harry K. Faith, and Roy Lee Faith, Sisters: Betty Jean Farris, and Peggy Joyce Cooper.
Jo Ann is survived by her Daughter, Roberta (Joseph) Bowman, Son, John D. DeMarsh, Daughter, Phyllis (Tim) Cakebread, Daughter, Sharon DeMarsh, Brother, William A. Faith, Grandchildren, Amanda (Scott) Slayton, Joseph A. (Jill) Bowman, and Jacob Cakebread, Great-Grandchildren: Gavin Ford, Seth Slayton, Andrew Bowman, Alex Bowman, and Asher Bowman, and many Nieces and Nephews.
A gathering for Jo Ann's family and friends will be from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, July 18, 2019 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). A celebration of life will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, at the funeral home with burial to follow at Knob Creek Cemetery in West Point, Kentucky.
The family requests that contributions in Jo Ann's memory be made to The WHAS Crusade For Children, or St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
