Jo Anne Sturgeon

Jo Anne Sturgeon, 69, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday, June 9, 2019. Jo Anne was a homemaker who loved her family. She enjoyed concerts and especially David Gray. In her spare time she enjoyed sewing and made a variety of clothing for friends and family. Jo Anne's flowers were her pride and joy, along with her dogs.

She was born on August 9, 1949 in Carter County, Kentucky to Sterl and Edith (Stone) Stevens. She is preceded in death by her parents, and her husband Larry Sturgeon.

Jo Anne is survived by her daughter, Amy Sturgeon, son, Cory Sturgeon, sisters, Lori Bird, and Gwen Mulrooney. Jo Anne leaves behind to cherish her memory her grandchild, Kayla Reece, great-grandchildren, Chasidy Sturgeon, and Madison Reece.

Visitation will be from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, June 12, 2019 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). Her Funeral Service will be at 11:00 am on Thursday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel.
