Jimmy Douglas Holbrook, 80, of Clarksville, Indiana, passed away on Monday, September 3, 2018, at his home with his loving family by his side. Jimmy was a proud veteran of The United States Army. He enjoyed camping and cooking, but above all he loved spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He was born on February 18, 1938, in Mayking, Kentucky, to the late Nickie and Hazel (Sergent) Holbrook. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, Roland Holbrook and Darrell Holbrook.

Jimmy is survived by his loving wife, Camilla Ann (McGuiggan) Holbrook; daughter, Stacy Barker (Larry Weston); daughter, Paula Holbrook (Darrin Pearl); daughter, Mary Gross (Chris); son, James Holbrook (Cynthia); daughter, Amanda Martin (Leopold); sister, Ramah Bentley (Watson); brother, Jack Holbrook; grandchildren, Robert, Haley, Taylor, Jordan, Corey, Gabe, Breanna, Abby, Riley, and Caleb; and great-grandchildren, Ava, Jaylen, Gracie, and Chloe.

A Celebration of Life will held on Saturday, September 8, 2018, from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at The Carriage House (1101 East Market Street, Jeffersonville, Indiana 47130).

The family requests that contributions in Jimmy 's memory be made to Karson Friedmeyer Little Bud Scholarship.
