James E. Osting, 76, passed away on Sunday, February 21, 2016. Jim was a volunteer for University of Louisville Special Forces for twelve years.
He retired from Kindred Healthcare. He was a 25 year member, football official, and past-president for K.F.O.A. He was a 1957 graduate of Flaget High School.
Jim is survived by his wife of 57 years, Barbara (Schultz) Osting, daughter, Mary Beth (Barry) Fallon, son, Todd (Tina) Osting, grandchildren; Megan Fallon, Melanie Osting, and Blake Osting, sisters; Shirley North, Pam Shifflett, and brother Dennis Osting.
Per Jims wishes his body was donated to the University of Louisville Medical School.
Also per his wishes a celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be to Hosparus of Louisville.
