Jim "Sonny" Clark, 84, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Wednesday, February 16, 2022.

He was born on May 7, 1937 in Scottsburg, Indiana to the late Everett and Mary (Duncan) Clark. He is also preceded in death by his sister Virginia Dare (Clark) Poole.

Jim was a member of Highland Baptist Church where he served on the finance committee and a former member of Westport Road Baptist Church where was a deacon and a Sunday School teacher. Jim was an avid reader, a history buff, a lover of bluegrass music, devoted U of L fan and an Eagle Scout. Jim worked as a branch manager and retired as a vice president at National City Bank/PNC Bank, he managed multiple IT departments, he was a reading and math tutor, a teacher at Jefferson Community College and a reading tutor with the No Child Left Behind Program.

Jim is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Mary Louise (Adamson) Clark, children Greg Clark, Krista Grabowski, Lori White (Stephen), five grandchildren Sterling White, Amanda Grabowski, Victoria White, Joshua Grabowski, Andrew White and one great-grandson, Allistair.

Jim will be laid to rest privately. A memorial service will be held at a future date.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers memorial contributions in Jim's memory be made to National Parkinson's Institute (P.O. Box 4474 Louisville, KY 40204).
